Im on the hunt for a New ISP asap, and things are not looking good. I must have looked at between 20-30 different ISP's so far in total, and im not happy at all. It now seems that every ISP has some sought of "catch". Basically what im looking for a ADSL connection, that is (truly) unlimited and ideally for a low cost. Im even happy with just 512kb downstream. I dont want none of this 8Mb or 2Mb bullsh!t if its gona cost me more. My old ISP; Eclipse had been the most reliable and versatile ISP I had ever come across, I was gona migrate back to them, however now even their packages have changed, and they even say unlimited, however they all have this hidden "fair usuage policy" which tbfh in my opinion it certainly isnt fair.

"You will only be affected by the fair usage policy if you use file sharing software such as peer to peer (p2p), file transfer (ftp) or binary newsgroups (USENET) during peak periods."
What the hell was broadband for!? I'll tell you; the distrubution of large files, streaming of video and media AND OMFGz0r.. they're gona distriminate WebMasters and website owners because if you use the FTP protocol your breaching their fair usuage policy too. It goes on to say how you will be restricted below everyone else.
So yeah, im looking for a ISP who will give me a straight ADSL line, no hiddden costs, contracts, limits or restrictive bullsh!t in their conditions. If you think you have a recommendation, please be my guest and post it here. But sadly I feel the only thing I'll be doing is telling you exactly what is the catch with the company you just suggested.
