Hi folks, I know from experience that you can only have about 5-6 connections to IRC's QUAKENET from the same Internet connection (IP Address really)... so I think based on that we'll have to ban IRC from being used at our events. Because when lots of people logon to quakenet it will get the IP addressed banned from Quakenet, (not that I would care), and infact pherhaps it wouldnt be so bad if that happened anyway, lol. I was wondering if anyone would like to do a little research for me. See if we can find out if it is ok to have lots of connections to the MSN Messenger network from the same IP address. I mean like 30 people logged in from 1 IP address, lol. See if anyone can digup anything.. go forth my fellow 1337 minions.

I contacted MSN and got a reply back faster than normally expected! My Question: The Response: Once again: omfg, these MSN support staff are dam 1337 lollypops. I say @ Next LAN we try to get 30 people sign in to MSN when our ADSL router is disconnected, just check see if it works, how about it? But that looks like gd news, all of yous will be able to use MSN

If you can find out the set IP of the ADSL Connection I can get us an Quakenet trust allowing more than 5 users to connect to Quakenet.
Means IRC for all!
Cheers Ryan
